The Story
Early in the 21st century the world is ruled by clusters of mega-corporations called Metronets.

Their ultimate goal: the control of mankind's global data network, as information has become the new fabric of society - the New God.

Dealing in the flow of this information are outlaw computer hackers, the best of the best being Tiger Edge.

His brain impregnated by a rogue surveillance drone in a friendly-fire incident during the final battle of Desert Storm III, Tiger has unwittingly become the next phase in human evoluton - part man/part machine, a being whose special abilities make him invaluable to some... a dangerous threat to others

The story begins as Tiger dispatches an Interloper assassin sent to kill him. He returns to his apartment to find Trent Razek, head of Metatech, waiting for him. Razek informs Tiger of an "accident" that involved Jade, Edge's girlfriend and fellow hacker. Tiger enlists the aid of his computer genius friend, Kelvin, and enters cyberspace himself in an effort to find out what happened to Jade.
